From a molecular structure perspective, hyaluronic acid from different sources is essentially the same polysaccharide. Its basic moisturizing and lubricating effects do not depend on the "source," but rather on molecular weight, purity, and formulation design. High-purity hyaluronic acid with low impurities is more likely to provide stable moisturizing effects and has a gentler feel on the skin. Therefore, under the same molecular weight and specifications, fermented hyaluronic acid often exhibits better safety and user experience.

When choosing products containing hyaluronic acid, consumers should focus less on the source and more on the production process, quality standards, and applicable scenarios.
